Shivam Malhotra is an entrepreneur, investor and entertainment executive, and the Founder &
CEO of Malsons, a diversified entertainment and investment group building businesses across
music, media, culture, and venture investments.
Over the past several years, Malhotra has built and backed companies designed to connect Indian
and South Asian culture with global audiences. His work spans artist management, record labels,
intellectual property, media, live entertainment, and early-stage investing, with a particular focus on building businesses and talent capable of travelling beyond their home markets.
Malhotra is the Founder of ZIZA Inc. and ZIZA Records, its global joint venture with Republic Collective. ZIZA is focused on identifying, developing, and scaling culturally relevant artists, labels and music businesses for global audiences.
Through Malsons and its affiliated ventures, Malhotra has worked with artists including Shubh, JXGGI, Dhanda Nyoliwala, Jubin Nautiyal, Gravity, Yung Raja, and Taba Chake, while developing businesses and partnerships across India, North America, and other international markets. His work has contributed to a music ecosystem generating billions of streams globally.
Beyond entertainment, Malhotra invests in emerging companies through Malsons Ventures, with interests spanning consumer businesses, technology, media, and culture.
In 2025, Malhotra was the only media entrepreneur from India named in Billboard Canada’s inaugural 40 Under 40, recognizing the next generation of executives shaping the global music business.
An alumnus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Malhotra has built his career across India and North America. His long-term focus is on building enduring entertainment businesses, intellectual property and cultural platforms from India that can compete on a global stage.
