Ron Broitman

Executive VP, Global Sync, Warner Music Group – Recorded Music

Ron Broitman is Executive Vice President, Global Sync, Warner Music Group – Recorded Music, leading all aspects of the global recorded music synchronization business representing all labels within WMG across over 40 territories.

In his prior role, Broitman was Executive Vice President, Head of Synchronization, Warner/Chappell Music & WMG, overseeing a joint synchronization operation for a second time in his career. Broitman led a team of 50 in four offices representing both recorded music and music publishing rights, offering clients a comprehensive licensing service by strategically developing opportunities in film, TV, advertising, video games, and new media. Broitman previously served as Senior Vice President, Head of Synchronization, WCM.

Prior to WMG and WCM, Broitman served as Sr. Vice President of Film, TV & Advertising at Sony/ATV Music Publishing. In this role, Broitman was responsible for building and managing the department that placed and negotiated Sony/ATV’s entire repertoire across all visual media platforms.

Before joining Sony/ATV, Broitman held posts at BMG Music Publishing, including as Vice President of Film, TV & Advertising Music. In this position, he managed the synchronization department and represented the BMG and Zomba Music Publishing catalogs. During that time, Broitman was tasked with merging and overseeing the joint synchronization business for all music publishing catalogs and all BMG recorded music labels, including Arista, Jive and RCA, among others.

Broitman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA and a Juris Doctorate degree from Cornell Law School.
