Biography

Richelle Parham is a globally recognized executive, corporate director, and transformational business leader with more than 25 years of experience driving growth, innovation, and enterprise value across the consumer, technology, media, and entertainment sectors.

Most recently, Parham served as President of Global eCommerce, Business Development & Innovation at Universal Music Group (UMG), where she was a member of the executive leadership team and played a key role in the company’s successful public listing. She led UMG’s global direct-to-consumer strategy across its renowned portfolio of labels and international markets, delivering approximately 30% year-over-year revenue growth, surpassing a five-year revenue target in just three-and-a-half years, and expanding the company’s global subscriber base from 16 million to more than 200 million. Under her leadership, UMG built a fully integrated global organization while accelerating growth through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, joint ventures, and new business initiatives.

Prior to UMG, Parham served as Chief Marketing Officer at eBay, where she was recruited to the executive leadership team responsible for executing the company’s highly successful three-year business turnaround. She led key enterprise growth initiatives representing approximately 25% of company revenue and spearheaded eBay’s global brand transformation, helping restore the company’s market relevance and strengthen its standing among the world’s leading consumer brands.

Her distinguished career also includes senior leadership positions as Managing Director at WestRiver Group and General Partner at Camden Partners, where she partnered with CEOs and boards to accelerate enterprise growth, strategic investments, and long-term value creation. She is also the founder and former Executive Chairman of Shyn, a direct-to-consumer health and wellness company.

An accomplished public company board director, Parham currently serves on the boards of LabCorp, where she chairs the Compensation Committee, and Best Buy. She previously served on the boards of e.l.f. Beauty and Scripps Networks Interactive and is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees at Drexel University.

Recognized as one of the industry’s most influential business leaders, Parham has been honored by Billboard, Forbes, Fast Company, Savoy, and Black Enterprise for her leadership and impact. She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Design Arts from Drexel University.
