Ram recently joined Amazon MGM Studios as their new Head of Music for India, and Asia-Pacific where he oversees music creative for the company’s vast array of projects, and will mark his first public speaking engagement since taking on this new role at MUSEXPO.

Ram is an internationally-educated composer and sound designer with a diverse background in electronics and music. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics in Chennai, he pursued Master’s degrees in Music Composition and Sound Design in New York and Los Angeles. Ram’s career began with composing radio jingles, which quickly led to collaborations with industry giants such as Remote Control Productions (Hans Zimmer), Cutting Edge Group, Ramin Djawdi, Cliff Martinez, and more.

Despite his successful start in the US, Ram seized the opportunity to return to India, where he joined Netflix as Manager, Music Creative & Production, and played a crucial role in establishing their Asia-Pacific (APAC) Music Vertical. In this capacity, he oversaw the creative and production aspects, contributing significantly to enhancing original content from the Asia Pacific Region.

Ram’s unique blend of technical expertise and musical talent has made him a valuable asset in the entertainment industry, bridging the gap between technology and creativity on a global scale.
