Biography

Louisa Rainbird is the Head of Music for Europe at Amazon MGM Studios, where she leads a dedicated team focused on music for Amazon MGM’s Original series and films across key European markets, including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, the Nordics, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Since joining Amazon in 2020, Louisa has made significant contributions to notable productions such as Citadel: Diana, Operación Triunfo, Wilderness, Orelsan: Montre jamais ça à personne, and Autumn Beat.

Before her tenure at Amazon, Louisa gained invaluable experience in the music industry working in the sync department at Wise Music, an independent music publisher. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in the Music Licensing team at British broadcaster Sky, where she co-commissioned the acclaimed live performance series, Sky Art Sessions.

Louisa’s extensive background in music supervision and licensing has equipped her with a unique understanding of the creative and commercial aspects of music in visual media. Her collaborative approach and keen insight into the European market enable her to effectively curate and oversee music that enhances storytelling and elevates viewer engagement.
