Lawson Higgins is the Vice President of Creative at the fully independent music publishing company The Royalty Network, Inc where he has worked for 20 years.

Over the years he has signed artists including Mitski, Danny Brown, Youth Lagoon, The Districts, Justin Townes Earle, Tudor, Bay Ledges, Caroline Byrne and Ali Sethi while also procuring major placements for the trailers of films like Black Panther, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw and brands such as Nike, BMW, Bose, Hyundai, Reebok and Johnny Walker.

His predominant focus is running and growing the A&R and Synch teams on both the East Coast and West Coast in addition to liaising with all creative sub-publisher teams worldwide, energetically pitching the extensive Royalty Network catalog for TV Shows, Commercials, Films, Trailers and Computer Games.

He has also spoken at various conferences in Europe, Australasia, and N. America.
