Kristen McFarren, a seasoned music industry executive, brings a wealth of experience in film/television music, A&R/creative, licensing, and creator/IP management. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Kristen’s career journey began at Fox Entertainment, where she served under the Head of Music, orchestrating all facets of the music department. Here, Kristen cultivated her passion for crafting and placing music in visual media, managing the entire process from creation to copyright management. She then expanded her expertise at Ground Up Management, supporting a team of songwriters such as Emily Warren and Scott Harris.

Subsequently, Kristen joined the licensing company Lyric House, where she oversaw the A&R department, managing a diverse roster of creatives and spearheading all custom music commissions. Now back at Fox, Kristen draws on her multifaceted experiences to amplify creators across the industry. In her current role, she oversees operations for Fox Entertainment’s songwriting camps, facilitating the creation of original music and serving as a vital point of contact for internal collaborations across various brands under the Fox umbrella.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Kristen is a dedicated advocate for young creatives through her efforts as a NextGen Ambassador, and eagerly anticipates continued growth within the supportive mentorship of her incredible team at Fox.
