Katie Romanovich is an Associate Music Supervisor at Format Entertainment who works closely with Julia Michels. Recent credits include Unfrosted (Netflix), The Fabulous Four (Bleecker Street) and The Instigators (Apple TV+). She recently completed work on the upcoming film Back in Action starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz (Netflix).

With her parents’ KISS and Mötley Crüe CDs playing constantly throughout the house, Katie’s love for music started at an early age, which eventually led to a decade of singing in choral groups. Always intrigued by the musical palettes of each film and show she watches, you’ll likely find her saving each of the soundtrack playlists on Spotify within seconds of the end credits rolling.

In addition to writing, directing, and music supervising her own short films during her studies at Cal Lutheran University, Katie worked as an intern at major studios and networks, including NBC, CBS, and 20th Century Studios. After graduating in 2020 with a degree in Film and Television, Katie honed her skills and passion for film and TV music as both an assistant and Junior Agent at the composer agency First Artists Management, known for their dynamic roster including Carter Burwell, David Arnold, and Dan Deacon.

Eager to make a transition into a creative music supervision role, Katie joined Format in 2022 and has enjoyed bringing her extensive knowledge of the composer world to her supervision work. She is an Associate Member of the Guild of Music Supervisors.
