Emma Banks is a distinguished Music Agent and Co-Head of Global Touring at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the world’s leading entertainment and sports agencies. Operating from CAA’s London office, Banks represents a roster of iconic musicians, including Katy Perry, Muse, Arcade Fire, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence + The Machine, Kylie Minogue, and Green Day.
Banks began her illustrious career at Wasted Talent, working alongside Mike Greek. Following several ownership transitions, the company rebranded as Helter Skelter in the late 1990s. Banks and Greek played pivotal roles in transforming Helter Skelter into one of Europe’s top music booking agencies, where Banks ascended to the position of Managing Director.
In 2006, Banks and Greek joined CAA, spearheading the establishment of the agency’s London office and driving the global expansion of CAA’s music business.
Beyond her agency work, Banks is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Nordoff and Robbins, the U.K.’s leading music therapy charity. In 2018, she was honored with the prestigious Music Industry Trusts Award. She has also been acknowledged by the U.K.’s Woman of the Year Awards, receiving the “Special Achievement Award” in 1997 and being named Woman of the Year in 2007.
Banks’ excellence has been repeatedly recognized by her peers. She has won the International Live Music Conference’s (ILMC) “Second Least Offensive Agent Award” six times and received their premier ‘The Bottle Award’ in 2020. Also, she is a ten-time recipient of Pollstar’s U.K. “Agent of the Year Award” and has been featured multiple times on Billboard’s Women in Music and International Power Players lists. Most recently, Banks was awarded The Strat at the Music Week Awards 2023.
