Christian Zabala is a Music Supervisor at Format Entertainment, where he brings a sharp curatorial ear and a deep understanding of both music and storytelling to his work across film, television, and interactive media.
Originally from Seattle, Christian’s journey in music began as a DJ and producer in the local Hip-Hop and R&B scenes—an early hands-on experience that shaped his creative approach and passion for connecting sound with culture. After graduating from Seattle University, he began his professional career at PlayNetwork, crafting in-store music experiences for brands like Starbucks, Adidas, NYX Cosmetics, and Alaska Airlines.

Since joining Format Entertainment, Christian has worked across a wide range of productions including Devil May Cry, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Rookie, and Call Me Kat.
He also plays a key role in the supervision of Marvel’s Disney+ slate, with credits on high-profile titles such as X-Men ’97, Echo, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and Vision Quest. His ability to navigate the creative and logistical demands of music supervision in complex franchises has made him a trusted partner for studios and creators alike.
