The highly-respected and inspirational global music business and showcase event MUSEXPO ( www.musexpo.net), which returns with its Creative Summit to Burbank, CA from March 20 – 23, 2022 has confirmed participation from music, media, technology and consumer brands from around the world for its 26th edition – which is its first-in person event since 2019. The MUSEXPO Creative Summit joins a week–long series of events that includes the Global Synch Summit and A&R Summit, as well as the Global Rock Summit, all coinciding as part of California Entertainment Week, and taking place March 20 – 25th, 2022. TOP NETFLIX MUSIC EXECUTIVES JOIN MUSEXPO 2022 FOR AN EXCLUSIVE KEYNOTE PANEL
The highly-respected international music industry event MUSEXPO ( www.musexpo.net), which hosts its 26th global edition in-person confab from March 20 – 23, 2022 in Burbank, CA, has confirmed a very special keynote conversation with two of the world’s most influential music supervisors. Joining MUSEXPO 2022 are Amy Dunning, Vice President Music Netflix and Alexandra Patsavas, Director, Music Creative/Production For Original Series, Netflix. This year sees the return of the first in-person MUSEXPO since the start of the pandemic back in 2020.
Amy Dunning
Amy Dunning currently serves as Vice President, Music at Netflix. She joined the company in 2019 and scaled the Music Creative/Production team across Original Films, Series and Animation. She is currently launching this team in the UK, India and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Her Netflix highlights include Don’t Look Up, The Harder They Fall and Pinocchio. Before joining Netflix, she was Head of Music at Lionsgate films where she worked with the music teams on La La Land, Wonder and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. Prior to Lionsgate, Amy served as Sr. VP of Creative and Business Development at Downtown Music Publishing. Amy started her career at 20th Century Fox as VP, Music where her credits included: Oscar winners Life of Pi and Juno as well as X-Men Origins: Wolverine, 500 Days of Summer and Maze Runner; she also championed the songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul on The Greatest Showman. Amy is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and serves on the advisory board of the Alliance for Women Film Composers.
Alexandra Patsavas
Alexandra Patsavas is the Director, Music Creative/Production for Original Series where she oversees Netflix’s creative music services and production strategy for original series, and fosters partnerships between the studio, producers and the music industry. Prior to joining Netflix’s Music Department, Alexandra founded Chop Shop Music Supervision company in 1998, and has music supervised well over 100 projects and produced dozens of soundtracks over the last two decades. Her series and feature credits include: Bridgerton, Coda, Scandal, The O.C., Gossip Girl, Riverdale, Rescue Me, Without A Trace, Mad Men, Supernatural, Grey’s Anatomy, The Twilight Saga (all five films), The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Perks of Being A Wallflower, and Moxie. She is currently completing work on Inventing Anna for Shondaland and Netflix. Patsavas is an Emmy Nominee for “Outstanding Music Supervision” for her contribution to Bridgerton and a three-time Grammy nominee for the “Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.” Her first nomination was for the compilation Grey’s Anatomy Original Soundtrack, Vol. 2, the only television soundtrack in the category. Her other nominations were for the Twilight: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Patsavas has served as chairperson (and first woman) of the Board of Directors of MusiCares following 10 years as an officer and board member. A champion of independent artists, Alexandra has played an influential role in identifying and exposing emerging talent to mainstream audiences.
This exclusive panel will be moderated by one of the top international music business journalists – Mark Sutherland, Music & Media Consultant, who was most recently Editor, Music Week, UK and was former Global Editor, Billboard. Mark has been covering music and the music business for over 25 years. He started out producing his own fanzine, which landed him a job on legendary pop magazine Smash Hits. He is currently a Variety columnist, and has also written for the likes of Rolling Stone, Q, Kerrang!, The Face, The Times and The Telegraph, interviewing everyone from Oasis to Taylor Swift.

MUSEXPO Creative Summit Unveils New Dates For 2022

The new dates for MUSEXPO are Sunday, March 20th - 23rd, 2022, which will take place at the scenic mountain top location at Castaway in Burbank, CA - the entertainment and media capital of the world.
