Biography

Daniel Berk is a music and media executive working at the intersection of music, technology, and storytelling. With a background spanning creative direction, product development, and executive leadership, he has built and scaled tools, teams, and catalogs that serve the evolving needs of the film, television, gaming, and advertising industries.

He is the Co-Founder and CEO of MusicBox, an AI-native sync platform designed to modernize how music is managed, discovered, and delivered for artists, catalogs, and creative teams. Built from firsthand experience inside the sync and trailer music ecosystem, MusicBox rethinks traditional workflows by combining intelligent search, conversational AI, and modern collaboration tools, helping creative teams move faster while giving artists and catalogs greater visibility and control.

In parallel, Daniel serves as Chief Operating Officer of Alloy Tracks, where he helps lead strategy, operations, and creative direction across trailer, film, television, and game music. In this role, he works closely with composers, producers, and creative partners to shape high-impact music for major studios, networks, and global campaigns, while also guiding the company’s evolution through new technologies and business models.

Prior to founding MusicBox, Daniel’s career focused on creative direction and hands-on product development across the media industry. He has overseen the production and licensing of music for hundreds of commercial projects, including trailers, feature films, television series, and games, while simultaneously building the systems and infrastructure that support scalable creative output.

Across all of his work, Daniel is driven by a core belief that the future of music in media depends not only on great creative, but on better tools, smarter workflows, and more transparent, artist-friendly ecosystems.
